COMPUTER MEMORY
The input devices provide data and instruction to the computer . This memory is called internal memory. The internal memory is divided into many storage location this memory is used to store data and instruction in memory is called internal as it is locating inside the computer each memory is of the same size and has an address the computer can easily find the data the internal memory is also called Main memory or Primary storage.
Main memory is divided into two parts:-
1 ROM ( Read Only Memory)
2 RAM ( Random Access Memory)
1 ROM ( Read Only Memory) :-
1. It stands for Read only Memory.
2. In this type of memory we cannot change its content. We just read the content we cannot write anything on ROM.
3. It is non-volatile in nature which means that the content store in it are not lost even when when the power to the computer is switched off.
4. This memory cannot be washed.
5. Instruction that are need to stored in the computer are store in the ROM of computer.
6. It is permanent in nature.
7. ROM is also termed as firmware.

2 RAM ( Random Access Memory):-
1. RAM stands for Random access memory
2. It is read\write memory which means that we can read the data from this memory and can also write on it.
3. This memory is volatile in nature which mean s its content are lost as soon as the power to the computer is switch off.
4. It is temporary in nature.
5. This instruction and that we input into the computer are stored int the RAM of the computer.
6. It is also termed as liveware.
RAM is further divided into three parts:-
1:- Cycling access memory
2:-Serial access memory
3:- Direct access memory
CONCLUSION
